How to Obtain Obit Copies
You are welcome to visit the microfilm room, 3rd floor of Omaha Public Library’s W. Dale Clark location at 215 S. 15th St., Omaha, Nebraska to get copies of any of the obits that you need. Hours are 10:00 to 8:00 M - Th, 10:00 - 6:00 F & Sa, 1:00 - 6:00 Su. The library is closed on holidays, occasionally for two days.
Send your request for obits to: OmahaObits@aol.com. The person running the OmahaObits email address will mail obit copies to you for $5 per obit or 3/$10. Please include your mailing address with your obit request(s). You will be contacted via return email with information on where to send your check. We can also search for presently unindexed materials IF you have at least a month and year of death. Though we make every possible effort to satisfy your request for unindexed materials, (happy customers tell friends), please realize that we cannot guarentee success.

You may have the library staff obtain copies for you. Research fees apply. They will do up to 30 minutes of research IF they are given:
1. the name of the person
2. date of death
3. $20 in advance, checks made out to: Omaha Public Library.
